Cafeterias are places not only for food and drinks but also to engage with others and create joyful memories. Teesside University has many places for eating and sitting, where you can enjoy university life and build quality time with others. The main two famous places selling fresh homie food at Teesside university are the garden in business school, and STR EAT in the student life building. The atmosphere in tees cafeterias is full of energy, dynamic and youth vibes. They both have the same strategy to sell healthy, fresh food; the garden, for example surfing gluten-free, vegan food. Besides that, you can get various options, including red meat, chicken and pork in a sandwich or with salad. Both of them serve high-quality hygiene standards and care about allergies contamination standards and clean them regularly. The first visit was to The Garden on the first floor of the business building. They have variety in their two menus. On the breakfast menu; you can get up to 6 items for a breakfast bowl for only £4 including Linseed & chia tortilla wrap four items for only £3.50. Secondly, the lunch menu is usually served from 11:30 am – 3 pm. They are planning to add a winter menu to warm up students. The best selling dish is mushroom and Spanish lasagne. The price ranges from £ 1.50 to £3.90. Moreover, soft and hot drinks are also available in The Garden. The second-place surfing various ranges of fresh food are STR EAT. Their general theme is more open with huge glass walls, making it easier for people sitting inside to engage with outside. It is the only place on the campus where you can get 10-inch pizza for only £4. Additionally, the music is enthusiastic and reflects the youth spirit. The menu is suitable for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Easily you can have healthy balanced meals. They are famous for not only pizza but fresh cookies and fresh Lebanese salad as well. If you are a student at Teesside university, you are lucky enough to experience healthy, delicious food and easy access between your lectures and labs. I did my Vox pop with university students in Teesside cafeterias (The Graden, STA EAT) during their lunchtime, and we have interviewed customers in campus cafeterias. I started my Vox pop with general questions such as what your name is? How old are you? What course do you do? Which year? Then I started asking about my topic how often do they eat in campus cafeterias? Why? What is their favourite food? What is your favourite part about the university cafeteria’s atmosphere? If they consider the food fresh and healthy? If they have suggestions? The interviewers were three males and three females, ages ranging from 19 to 47 years old.
